This little blog right here, is simply an exploration of my own human 'design' and a means of trying to express its reason for being! I don't know about you, but I'm curious. Curious about trying, and seeing what happens. Each day is an opportunity to try and align ourselves with our own basic goodness. Every situation, person we meet, is our teacher, our guide to learning and becoming more aware of ourselves. The signposts pointing us toward fulfillment of our reason for being, are all out there. It's simply up to us whether we open our hearts to them. Only we can decide whether or not we try. But life ain't fun if you don't try, so seek, explore, and be eternally curious about the life you've obtained. Be your own adventurer and you will find, there really is 'bien raison d'être' - much reason for being.

Spoken Mirrors.

I waited for you
Waited until I turned blue
Until the feeling froze
And crystalized you

In a perfectly preserved
Memory
A time capsule
Stored away safely
Hidden from view

Except by hiding from you
I'm hiding from myself too
What to do?
So many mirrors

Please help me shatter them
For I'm done with reflections
Want to see the real view
And live in its truth.

Symmetry.

Tonight I laughed so hard until I cried
I saw the apple in your hand
And was reminded of the one in my eye
Then you pointed to the sky

You spoke of the four moons orbiting Jupiter
While expressions of sheer awe
In this moment of contemplative theatre
Unfolded across our faces
Lighting our eyes
With the same stars that adorn galactic spaces

That dot there, in your telescope
Now aligning with the pupil of your eye
"It's all just space," you said
"The same space that exists inside you and I."

And in that space
I lay down my fears
After years
Of trying...

A bite of your apple
- You held it out to me
"As proof,
that anything is possible"...
And we looked at that piece of fruit
As if it were the only truth
As if it were god
Smiling sarcastically
Yet, honoring this moment with a silent nod...

Oh, how we laughed so hard until
I found myself crying
Hand over heart
Walking home in the dark

Nothing stays the same...
Turns out
We'd underestimated the family we became
In a parallel universe
Oceans apart from a home I once knew...

I wrestled sea serpents to get here
Pirates of my past
With parrots on their shoulders
Whispering back to me, my doubts
And insecurities
Trying to thieve...

But I wrestled them
I wrestled them to come here
To find my inner-Eve
And awaken her creation
And turns out

She doesn't rely on an Adam

Now on the brink of the unknown
"Nothing's written in stone
Anyway," you'd said...
As we'd watched that last tube slither home
Away into the night
Along with any debri of doubt
About what might
Or might not be
Leaving you and me on the platform
Talking about symmetry.
